LeBron James 82-0 Mode guide
LeBron James 82-0 Mode is a “what if” free-agency simulator. Spin one of the 30 NBA franchises and the game reveals a hypothetical starting five for that team with LeBron James inserted at whichever forward spot fits best — displacing the real starter he’d most directly compete with. The court on the right fills in automatically with all five starters, so there is nothing to draft or place by hand; your only job is to spin, then decide whether to run the simulation.
Hit Simulateand the game runs the same Team OVR formula used across every 82-0 mode (with a LeBron-flavored boost baked in) to project a full 82-game regular-season record, then — if that record is good enough to make the postseason — simulates an actual round-by-round playoff run: a guaranteed First Round win, followed by a real best-of-7 series for the Conference Semifinals, Conference Finals, and the NBA Finals. Your result lands on its own shareable page with a downloadable result card, so you can compare LeBron’s best possible landing spot with friends.
Every NBA franchise gets its own LeBron-inserted starting five, grounded in real 2026 offseason rosters and reported trades wherever possible, so no two spins tell quite the same story.
Unlike Classic or Team Mode, there is no drafting here — once you spin a team, all five court positions fill in immediately with that franchise’s hypothetical starters.
Simulate does not stop at a single title-odds percentage — it plays out a guaranteed First Round win, then an actual best-of-7 series for every round after that, so you see exactly where LeBron’s new team wins, and where its run ends.
The regular-season projection reuses Classic Mode’s exact Team OVR formula: each starter’s points, rebounds, and assists are summed directly, while steals and blocks are averaged only across players who actually record them so a light defensive stat line does not drag the whole five down. That Team OVR is normalized against benchmark values, weighted toward scoring, and converted into a projected win total out of 82 games.
If that win total clears the playoff cutoff, the game assigns a seed and simulates a real best-of-7 series for each round, with your Team OVR set against an opponent baseline that gets tougher every round — First Round, then Conference Semifinals, Conference Finals, and the NBA Finals. Round 1 is a guaranteed advance in this mode; from Round 2 on, every series is genuinely simulated rather than read off a static odds table, so the exact games and final score are locked in and saved to your shareable result link the moment you hit Simulate.
No. This is a hypothetical, entertainment-only simulation. In reality, LeBron James signed a two-year, $8 million deal (with a player option) with the Philadelphia 76ers on July 24, 2026. Every other team’s lineup here — including the 76ers row itself before that real move — is a fictional "what if" starting five, built for the game.
Each team’s hypothetical starting five is based on real 2026 offseason rosters and reported trades, with LeBron inserted at whichever forward spot reads most naturally. Contender rosters (Nuggets, Thunder, Rockets, Spurs, Clippers, Mavericks, Bucks, Heat, 76ers, and more) are grounded in real offseason moves; rebuilding teams with fewer reported moves (Nets, Bulls, Hawks, Hornets, Jazz, Kings, and similar) are reasonable projections with lower confidence. Every non-LeBron player’s per-game stats are their real recent NBA averages.
Simulate first computes your team’s regular-season Team OVR and win total using the same formula as Classic Mode, with a LeBron-flavored boost since this mode is rooting for him. If your win total clears the playoff cutoff, the game seeds your team and simulates a real best-of-7 series for each round — First Round, Conference Semifinals, Conference Finals, and the NBA Finals — with win probability driven by your Team OVR. Round 1 is a guaranteed advance; every round after that is genuinely simulated, so no two playoff runs for the same team are guaranteed to look alike.
